Louis Vuitton Bumbag Review - Worth It?

The Bumbag is the most recent designer bag I’ve added to my collection and could not be happier with it! In prepping for mom life, I’ve been trying to simplify things as much as possible (hubby still thinks this is up for debate how “simple” I am LOL). This includes everything from automating as much as possible through subscriptions, getting the home in order and making sure baby and I will have what we need for when she arrives!

Rating

Style - 5/5 Relative, but I wouldn’t have purchased this if I didn’t like how it looks. LV is known for their classic designs, and this ones hits the mark! They also have other prints (white and black leather) but I opted for the monogram print since it’s more durable and versatile imo!

Price - 4/5 Again, this is so relative, especially for designer brands. By no means is this bag inexpensive. It really comes down to how often you plan to use but since this has been the primary bag I’ve used since getting it, I would say it’s definitely worth the $$$. Usually any luxury bag you can get for less than $2k is pretty good!

Durability - 4.5/5 As with most LV bags, they are made to be very durable. The style of this bag also holds up really well. The leather strap is thick and has multiple buckles. Since the strap is durable, I don’t have to worry about it getting all bent out of shape in a weird way. The leather has gotten softer which I enjoy, but still very sturdy.

Versatility - 3.5/5 So, this bag is SUPER versatile however I find it goes best with casual outfits. Since it’s technically a fanny pack, it has a sportier look by default. Not something you should wear to a wedding or use as a work bag, so for that it gets a lower rating from me. I bought this to be used as an everyday bag so it’s working well for me, but like I said, not something I’d bring with me to the office or for more formal occasions. That’s what my Chanel is for ;)

Overall - 4.25 No regrets at all with this purchase! Been using daily and love how much it carries for being a small bag.

What fits inside

I did a What’s In my Bag reel for a quick video of everything that fits! I usually carry -

  • sunglasses case

  • wallet

  • small hair brush

  • 2-3 lipglosses

  • chapstick

  • keys

  • hand sanitizer

  • mints/gum

All of this fits comfortably, with plenty of room to spare. This bag is definitely not what I’d consider big, but it’s definitely enough for daily use/running errands.
